Jack Lucido also comes to us directly from an international environmental firm.  Jack spent many years of his career with a major operating company where he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Construction.  Mr. Lucido has been responsible for the overall executive project management of numerous major natural gas pipeline projects.  He has managed project teams in developing and building major pipeline projects and has a lengthy career as an engineer and senior officer in natural gas pipeline engineering and operations responsibilities.  Jack’s BS degree is from the University of Detroit.

Stan Babiuk formed his own energy consulting company after spending many years as a Senior Officer for major pipeline companies where his technical and commercial skills assisted in the creation, analysis, development, and operation of energy infrastructures.  Mr. Babiuk has over 30 years experience in the industry.  In the early years of his career, Stan had the opportunity to develop both his technical and commercial skills in the Pipeline and Storage Industry, and subsequently, broadening those skills to include the Electric Industry.  Stan obtained his BSE from Oakland University and his MBA from Wayne State University.

Please Welcome Bob Frankowski to EMS

The Southfield, Michigan office continues to grow with the addition of Bob Frankowski, an Engineering Technician, preparing to work on a significant pipeline project through an international environmental firm.  There are also plans for Bob to assist the EMS team on the numerous compressor projects throughout the coming year.  Bob has a BS degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University.  We are pleased to welcome Bob Frankowski to EMS!

John Dunn Appointed Director of Houston Operations

We are pleased to announce that John Dunn is our new Director of Houston Operations. In his new role, John will have two major tasks; the continuation of his marketing efforts as before, and the insurance that our Houston operation follows the pattern of the EMS core values that got us where we are today.

Currently our Houston office is made up of personnel in the Administration, Engineering and Drafting Business Units and these people will continue to report to their respective Business Unit Director, administratively.  John’s role as Director will be to improve communications between offices, run the day to day activities of the Houston office, coordinate activities, and to insert himself in the work flow between offices to insure that project and company objectives are met.  John graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in General Engineering from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.  He has over 40 years experience in the oil and gas upstream, midstream and downstream industries as an engineer, project manager and business developer.  John's experience in pipeline and production facility projects includes work with Williams Brothers Engineering Company, Fluor Daniel and M.W. Kellogg.  John is active in numerous industry organizations in the Houston area including The Pipeliners Association of Houston, API, Texas Oil & Gas Association, ASME, GPSA, SPE and NACE.

Steve Roberts - Director of Compression Projects

Additional changes are also being made at the Director and Project level.  Steve Roberts is being named as Director of Compression Projects.  This is due to the many compressor projects being sent our way by a number of clients.  This workload over the next year will require concentrated efforts.  Project Managers such as Pete Grimes and others will be named to assist Steve and lead specific compressor projects.  Alex Crasta and Bobby Williams have been designated to lead the mechanical design and drafting on these projects.  A representative of our Survey Group who will concentrate on this effort has yet to be named.

Compressor Projects in 2008

EMS is nearing completion on the last of seven major field compression stations.  Currently we have new compression projects underway that will continue through 2008.  Two major midstream companies have awarded at least ten more compressor stations to be designed in 2008.
